It all started with a chocolate chip cookie…

My mom was known among my childhood friends as the baker of the best chocolate chip cookies around. Any time my brother or I had friends over, without fail, there was a batch in the oven.

Watching the feelings of warmth and comfort that came over our visitors who got to experience the hospitality and warm chocolate chip cookies of my mom inspired me to do the same.

Ever since, I’ve had a passion for spreading joy through delicious cookies. I hope you experience a little taste of happiness, comfort, and hospitality as you bite into each Redbird Bakery cookie.

So, why Redbird Bakery?

In addition to hot-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies, another constant presence throughout my childhood was the cardinal who seemed to always be perched right outside our kitchen window. She was there so often that she almost felt like part of the family. Since this red bird was such a fixture in the same room in which I was inspired to bake, I thought it made perfect sense to have a bakery name inspired by her.
